Buying a home is probably the largest purchase you will ever make. We are dedicated to providing buyers with information that is easy to understand, without all of the industry jargon, so you can be informed and empowered consumers and make wise investments for your future. To support this effort, we are proud to regularly participate in home buying workshops to educate the community on the different aspects of the home buying process. Our goal is to help you achieve your dream by providing you access to information and experienced professionals. The goal is to empower you!
The workshops will inform you of the advantages of homeownership, help you review and evaluate your credit reports, discuss the importance of adequate savings & job stability, teach you how to determine affordability, discuss available loan products, how to choose a real estate agent, how to find your home, the importance of a home inspection, the loan process, the role of the title company, what are closing costs, components of settlement, and the responsibilities of a homeowner.
We will next be participating in the workshop, Homeownership 101, sponsored by the DC NAACP and the Latino Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) on Saturday May 19th. We hope to see you there!
